Authorities in South Florida are searching for those responsible who horribly killed two dolphins off the coast of Naples. The mammals were found a few days ago and both showed signs of being stabbed and shot.

The incidents appear to have occurred separately. First, biologists from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission found a dolphin fatally wounded with what appeared to be a sharp object or bullet. That same week experts from the marine animal shelter Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge rescued another dolphin with a bullet in its left side on the beaches of Pensacola, as detailed on its official page of the National Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA, pos its initials in English)

In the face of disruptive events, NOAA, through its law enforcement division, is offering a reward of even a NOAA niche.

The public is invited to contact the hotline at (800) 853-1964 with any information that helps find those responsible.
