Christian Nodal And The Latin Grammy Celebrate Their 20th Anniversary

Christian Nodal is more than ready for the great celebration this Thursday of the Latin Grammy, in which he is nominated in three categories for his second production, Now, in the three years he has been in his career.

The young singer can only be proud of this achievement, which will bring him face to face with a great man like Alejandro Fernández in the shortlist for best ranchera and / or mariachi music album.

"[The nominations] is something I didn't expect, it's the beautiful thing, like the cherry on the cake because we've made quite interesting music this year," he told People en Español. “This album was quite special and beautiful for me, which has been valued from the point of view of my fans and also from the academy which is more musical. It is a luxury to be here [at the Latin Grammy] and [I am] very happy to be here.”

Although Nodal and Fernández are rivals in the award ceremony, when creating good music that represents the Mexican regional genre they are complicit. In the next album by Vicente Fernández's son, the young sonorense will take his credit as composer of two of his songs.

“It falls to me like a dream, like I haven't landed yet. They are super-big people, I have a lot of respect for them and [I feel] pretty,”he stressed.

Nodal is preparing his next mariachi album and another with a band that will include several duets. In which he has collaborated so far with Juanes, Reik and Maluma have been for productions with Fernández

20 years ago, when the Latin Grammy took its first step, Nodal also gave his first sighs. For this he feels blessed to be able to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the delivery of the golden gramophone at the same time that it is two decades old.

"I am 20 years old, I have a 3-year career just [I] will meet and know that I am already nominated three times with great human beings, great artists, it motivates me a lot to continue making my music," he said.

“I am a man quite blessed by the fact that my music has reached the ears of very talented people, from people at the Academy, to all my fans, to all the people who support me. I enjoy it a lot and I am grateful to life and to all the people who help me get ahead day by day,”he added.
