The premiere of the seventh season of The Lord of the Skies (Telemundo) has given much to talk about. The reason? The abrupt death of the character played by Rafael Amaya.

"The success of our superseries, such as El Señor …, is to present content with captivating stories, a high level of production and great artists," reads a press release from the Telemundo network.

“As fans have seen, the development of the plot of the series in this new season completes the story of the character Aurelio Casillas. However, Rafael Amaya is still part of the family, he adds.

Carmena Aub, who plays Rutila, Aurelio's daughter, is optimistic about this new season and believes she will continue to enjoy the love of viewers.

"We were recording so much and it was [days] so intense, that we want to see how this season is going with Rafa, who is in some chapters," said the actress, who yesterday shared an image on her social networks saying goodbye to her father in fiction.

"We want to see how the public takes it and we are the public too. I recorded the last chapter first, so for us it is putting together puzzles without knowing how it will turn out. I am very confident that we are putting our whole hearts, the story is very good, "he added.

In fact, according to Aub, his Rutila has evolved on a personal and professional level. "I have grown up with the character and have been doing it for so many years," he observed. "Much of Rutila's character I have adopted in my life, I have learned a lot to raise my voice to be an empowered woman."
