Mother Finds Young Children Hanging In Basement

A mother in Pennsylvania made a heartbreaking discovery. Upon reaching the basement of her home, she found her 8-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter hanging, hanging from a support beam. The little ones were dying and the mother noticed that there were some chairs that had turned over on the floor. The children died three days later at a nearby hospital. Reading Eagle, citing police, reports that Conner Snyder, 8, and Brinley Snyder, 4, were unconscious when they were found hanging from a plastic-covered cable.

The boys had the same cable tied around their necks, at opposite ends. According to the police and Morning Call, the mother returned home and found that two dining room chairs were turned upside down, near the hanging children's bodies. Pottstown Mercury, citing court documents, reports that the brothers had had cardiac arrest when they were found, but paramedics revived them on the way to the hospital. However, the children were disconnected from life support machines in the hospital, dying 14 minutes apart from each other.

The mother, the deceased brothers and her teenage brother lived in the house where the incident occurred, according to reports. No arrests have yet been made in connection with this case, which is still under investigation. The children's autopsies gave inconclusive results, according to various media. May they rest in peace.
