The People En Español Festival started in style with three powerful women who have excelled in their respective careers and are making changes to their worlds.

The first panel of the event dedicated to brave Latinas included the participation of Colombian actress Carmen Villalobos, New York Assemblywoman Catalina Cruz and singer Ivy Queen, who reviewed her career and answered from the heart to the questions of our executive editor. María Morales.

Every woman has someone in her life who has inspired her to follow her dreams. Who has been that important person for each one?

“A great influence in my house when I was barely twelve years old, Celia Cruz was listened to in my house. Celia became a great inspiration for me. Giant! For her part, Villalobos said that her mother was the one who inspired her throughout her life, while Cruz pointed out that she has had "godmothers" who have reached out to her in her career.

“We have to know the value of supporting other women. We may be the first, but our duty is not to be the last, said Cruz. “But that does not mean that there are women who think differently. Those are not friends of ours”, she added with a laugh.

On the subject of supporting each other, it was the star of El final del paradise (Telemundo) who differed from the other panelists.
