Three women were arrested in Louisiana for mistreatment of a dachshund named Buddy who was found with his hind legs severely severed.

On September 27, the police arrested a third suspect: a 17-year-old girl who confessed to being the one who abandoned little Buddy at the site where he was found. The teenager, whose identity has not been revealed, was released under an agreement with an adult in charge of her.
