Ana Bárbara Lima Rough Edges With Her Father

The singer's father Ana Bárbara finally gave her arm to twist and accepted her daughter's insistent invitation to attend one of her concerts. After the apparent request of one of his sons too, Don Antero Ugalde arrived at the event that the interpreter of “Bandido” offered in his native land, San Luis Potosí, in Mexico, where father and daughter filed rough edges after months of estrangement.

The moment was captured on the singer's social networks, who published a photograph with her father and eldest son.

"Thanks to the Almighty for allowing to fill with light this heart that was lost in the summer!" Wrote the interpreter next to the photo of the memory. "Defining that simple is 2 pieces of my soul."

The reunion occurs a few days after Don Antero declared that the real reason for the distance with his daughter was due to the fact that the singer did not recognize that it was he who promoted her career.

“Ana Bárbara came here to Río Verde once. I went to see her,”the bewildered father explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “People know me a lot, how the [professional] story started with her. My brother José Luis, who was finance secretary in San Luis [Potosí], was there with the governor. So Ana Bárbara didn't even look at me and said: 'Here is my uncle José Luis, the one who shook my hand and helped me.' Then I felt very bad."

Don Antero also assured that his brother criticized him for helping her, and that is why he was upset that his daughter gave him so much credit.

The singer, for her part, has reiterated her love for her father, whom she never tires of thanking her for life. "I love my dad, I love my dad," he said in June during a press conference. "I thank my dad for life."
