Once again the innocent act of a child takes over social networks.

A heartwarming video posted on Facebook shows an adorable little girl handing out burritos to firefighters fighting the devastating Carr Fire in Northern California. The fire, which has already claimed the lives of six people and forced almost 40,000 inhabitants to evacuate from their homes, continues to grow, affecting firefighters, many of whom work 24-hour shifts.

Chelsey Lutz, who uploaded the video of her 2-year-old daughter Gracie, told CBS News that delivering the food meant giving a message of encouragement to firefighters. "We just wanted to show our support," he said.

Lutz's two brothers, Colton and Kody, and their father, Jerry, are also working on Carr Fire, one of the state's 17 largest fires.

The video was published on Facebook, and shows the little girl distributing the burritos wrapped in aluminum foil. Firefighters are grateful and touched by their act.

"We are here to help," he said, adding that his family would be back Monday night to deliver spaghetti.

This act of kindness is one of those that have arisen as a result of the fires.

Several area volunteers have collected water, food and supplies for the tireless fire department workers. Famous chefs like José Andrés, along with small business owners, are feeding the displaced for free.
