When the weather report is given on television, young people often appear with a statuesque body that is outlined in their sensual clothing. Given this, a Salvadoran woman, named Sandra Martínez, was attacked, mocked and memes for lacking the usual stereotype in that section; however, she took it with humor.

"I share my first meme on social networks, I like it and it makes me laugh a lot," Martínez wrote on his Facebook account. "My figure when I was young was better and natural. I hope they look like me at 60 years old, I am very proud."

"Thanks for my first meme, I really liked it," he added.

In addition, to accompany the text, it attached the corresponding meme and has taken advantage of this social network to share a series of notes that in its support have been made by various media around the world.

Sandra Yadira Martínez Tobar - her full name - found out about this cyber joke thanks to her son, as she herself told the Salvadoran newspaper La Prensa Gráfica.

Unlike other climate conductors, Martínez Tobar is a meteorologist by profession and has an accreditation as a Senior in Meteology by the United States. It also holds specialties in Aeronautics, Hydrology and Maritime. Now, she is dedicated to making weather forecasts at the National Observatory of El Salvador.

For their part, their colleagues from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources decided to make a video as a sign of their support and also created the hashtag #YoSoySandraYanira, according to local media reports.

The general stance towards Sandra Martínez has been supportive and has served to raise awareness of prejudice.
