Dylana Suarez is known for her famous fashion and style blog Color Me Nana which documents the life of this blogger known for her bohemian and rock style with modern touches. With more than half a million followers on Facebook and more than 100k on her Instagram account, Suarez, of Mexican and Chinese descent, is definitely a trendsetting it-girl. The famous blogger, who has collaborated with many brands like Coach and Clinique, is now part of the new City Girls campaign for DKNY's iconic 'Be Delicious' fragrance. We talked to her about what it means to be part of this campaign, her fashion tips, the beauty products she uses every day and more.

How do you feel about being part of this new campaign?

Excited and very lucky to be a part of [her]. I have been a fan of the brand since I was a child since it is the archetype of New York and it had always been a dream of my life to move to a big city. Being part of this campaign consolidates me as a true New Yorker, and it is a great achievement in my career as a blogger. I have reached the seventh year of having my website … and I feel that I can define many parts of myself through fragrances. It feels like the perfect collaboration.

What do you like the most about 'Be Delicious'?

I love that the fragrance is refreshing, light and has such a spontaneous and natural air that it makes it possible to use it daily. In fact, it is delicious. It is floral and woody at the same time, a perfect mix between feminine and masculine, which is exactly how I like to define my personal style. I also love that it is shaped like an apple, representing New York and its natural aesthetic.

How would you define your style?

Urban bohemia with a bit of rock n 'roll. Bohemia, in the sense that I am inspired by nature and the colors found in it. Urbana means I am inspired by the fast pace of a big city. It means wearing defined and powerful clothes but with a modern touch, such as a blazer, jeans and shoes that really stand out, but at the same time it is practical and does not seem very studied. Rock n 'roll means that I am very inspired by the music I listen to. I love the fashion of the 60s and 70s.

What are your top three fashion tips?

Dress up to highlight your favorite faction. For me they are my legs, so I always opt for high-waisted jeans with subtle flare. I always dress to highlight them, and that's how I feel sexier and more confident about myself. Experiment with color. Get out of your comfort zone and try using a color that you were afraid of before. Maybe start by wearing a piece and give it your twist. My last advice would be not to pay too much attention to the trends of the moment. Trends come and go, and I think everything is in fashion as long as you feel comfortable and inspired by it.

What are three beauty products that are part of your daily routine?

At the moment I am super obsessed with highlighters because they leave my skin looking hydrated and healthy. I love powder for spring and summer, because they leave a matte finish on the skin. I also love earth tone lipstick, like brown / red, burnt orange, or dark peach. And of course, Be Delicious which is my favorite fragrance. It lifts my spirits to put sprays on my pulse areas. A beauty routine goes beyond makeup and skin care products. For me fragrance is the last step and smelling good makes me feel good inside and out.

We know you travel a lot, do you have any tips on how to pack and travel in style?

I like to make my outfits before traveling instead of carrying many things that in the end I won't even end up wearing. I have learned to travel without wasting space. That takes a lot of stress off me. Light blouses, bohemian bodysuits with ruffles, crochet crop tops in different colors … those are my essentials for summer. That and many bikinis and sarongs that can be used in different ways.

You are partly Mexican, is there something about Latin culture that you love or influence your style?

Being partly Mexican is super important to me. My roots have inspired me to go on adventures in Latin countries, such as going to Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Mexico, and they were some of the most incredible experiences for me. Colors, food, music, traditional clothing … Latin touches are some of my favorites when it comes to fashion, such as embroidery, wide-brimmed hats and cotton dresses. I grew up [very] American, but surrounded by Latino culture from my dad and Chinese / Asian culture by my mom, and I've always spent time getting to know them. I feel very lucky to have been able to experience them all and interpret them my way.
