A Fight In A Chinese Hospital

We are already used to videos of fights between passengers on an airplane or between drivers in the middle of the street, but what we had not seen until now was a fist fight in an operating room between members of the personnel in charge of operating.

The video that leaked online was taken last week by security cameras at a hospital in China's Henan province. There you can see how two medical professionals, a man and a woman, engage in a verbal discussion that escalates to the point that the two face fists in the middle of the operating room.

According to the Daily Mail, the woman is a nurse who had a loving relationship with the man, who is a surgeon. According to this version, the incident began when the doctor complained to his partner that he had committed a violation of the protocol during the intervention and throws disposable gloves at him.

According to the images, the nurse responds to this action by hitting her coworker. To everyone's surprise, the illustrious doctor responds by rushing over the woman to give her not one, but eight swipes until she collapsed on the floor. Since he doesn't appear to be willing to stop, other colleagues have to step in to stop him.

According to the South China Morning Post newspaper, the incident occurred at Lankao Central Hospital in Henan province. That same newspaper reported that, although authorities say the encounter happened when the surgery was over, netizens who have seen the video indicate that it is obvious that the patient is still in the operating room.

After the images of the incident became a phenomenon on Chinese social networks, the hospital center released two statements in which it was highlighted that despite the violence of the confrontation, no serious injuries occurred and that the matter has been treated as a personal problem among those involved.
