11-year-old Girl Dies In Accident

A school trip ended in tragedy when an 11-year-old girl named Evha Jannath fell from a boat in the Splash Canyon game, which is part of the attractions of the Drayton Manor Amusement Park in Britain.

The little girl was rescued alive by local employees and airlifted to a nocosomium. Meanwhile "intensive care staff treated him before arriving at Birmingham Children's Hospital, where doctors continued the treatment applied in the transfer," said a spokesman for the West Midlands ambulance service. "Unfortunately, the girl died after arriving at the hospital."

Jannath was a sixth-grade student at the Jameah Academy in Leicester, who made this visit to the park with a group of her students, issued a statement confirming the death.

“As a school community we are deeply shocked and our thoughts are with the families and friends of our ward. The school will ensure that specially trained personnel are available at the school to provide support to our wards and employees during this difficult time,”read the college document.

For his part, the director of Drayton Manor, George Bryan, told the media that "we are all really shocked and devastated, and our thoughts are with family and friends at this terribly difficult time."

The water attraction was closed after the incident and the park remained closed last Wednesday as "a sign of respect for the family," the place reported in a statement published on its Facebook page. According to the newspaper El País, the British security agency is investigating the accident.
