The murder of little Felipe Romero, a 10-year-old Uruguayan boy, who died of a bullet at the hands of his coach, Fernando Sierra, has shocked all of America. During these days the authorities have continued with the investigations with the relatives and friends of both, to determine what it was that motivated Sierra to end his life and with Felipe.

It was the night of April 19 that Sierra planned the kidnapping of the little boy, as was disclosed in the Uruguayan newspaper El Clarín. He decided to rent a car with which he was not linked so that the cameras or the traffic police could not identify him and thus be able to flee with Felipe.

It was at 10 am on Thursday April 20 that Sierra rented the car. “She sent me a message on my cell phone at 10:14. We had not yet opened and he was already at the door waiting,”the manager told the newspaper El País, who apparently already knew Sierra because she was a frequent customer. “When I arrived, he told me that his car had hit him and that he was going to send it to the workshop. He needed another one and said he wanted to take it with him for 20 days… -Oh, this is horrible…, I'm still impressed!”

After that, he returned home and chatted with his relatives as he usually did and took a nap. After hours her family realized that Sierra was no longer at home.

The coach picked up Felipe at his school at 3 in the afternoon, -the boy left at 5 and told the principal that he had to take the little boy to the doctor. When his mother noticed, he texted the mothers of other children and asked for help through WhatsApp.

As a result of the call, the police began the search that ended the following day with the discovery of the car and the two bodies without life.

Sierra, killed the little one with a bullet and then killed himself. The Uruguayan became very close friends with the little boy and his family while he was the coach of a club in Uruguay, there was such an affinity that Felipe's mother, Alexandra Pérez, allowed the boy to take a vacation with Sierra.

Unfortunately, the friendship became strange when the boy had attitude changes and the mother took him to a therapist, who advised that Felipe should end the friendship with Sierra. It was after the decision that the coach kidnapped and killed the little boy.

According to the first autopsy reports, the boy was sexually abused not only on the day of his death but on previous occasions.
