A cyclist ended with his arm and jaw broken after three men who were driving a car got out to beat him because he did not give way.

According to the DNAinfo New York site, on April 5 a 31-year-old man named Mitch Norgan was riding his bicycle between his apartment and his business in New York when the driver of a Nissan Maxima car tried to pass him before reaching a traffic light. Norgan, it was reported, did not let the car pass, causing its three occupants to argue with him.

Norgan, who said he is used to these kinds of street discussions, suggested to one of them that he visit his dentist to have his "bad breath" treated. This caused the driver of the car to get off and kick his bicycle, causing the cyclist to fall to the ground, breaking his arm.

When the driver returned to his car, Norgan stopped in front of it so he couldn't run away. It was then that all the occupants of the car came out to attack him, breaking his jaw.

Norgan said paramedics who arrived at the scene took a photo of the vehicle's license plate and that witnesses to the incident have provided data for the investigation. However, the attackers who fled have not yet been located so far.

The biker, who rides 15 to 20 miles every day, commented that "all kinds of people threaten my life throughout the city" and recalled that on one occasion they threw a can of beer at his helmet and other times they have beaten him But this is the first time that he has suffered such severe injuries.
