Mike Pence had the best of intentions although a slip left him in evidence.
The Vice President of the United States wanted to send a message of support to the Israeli nation on Twitter, and wanted to accompany it with a smiley of the flag of the country of the Middle East.
The problem came when, instead of the flag with the star of David, the Nicaraguan rose.
Although the tweet was deleted shortly afterwards, many Internet users had already taken screenshots and shared the error on the networks.
“Our support for the Jewish community does not end at our borders. Under this presidency, the world will know that America is with Israel, Pence wrote.
This small misunderstanding only does more than add to the long list of reasons why detractors of the Trump administration are fighting to call for the end of this recently launched government, which they consider to be nothing prepared.
