A Couple Has A Buffalo As A Pet

If you thought that having a reptile or a pig as a pet was something extravagant, it is because you had not heard the story of Ronnie and Sherron Bridges, a couple from Texas that has spent 12 years living with a 2,500-pound buffalo whom they consent to the point that He even has his place at the table to eat with them.

The Inside Edition (CBS) program this week presented the incredible images in which its owner assures that the buffalo, called "Wild Thing", is capable of behaving with politeness. "Outside he plays very rough, but inside the house he is truly a gentleman," he assured.

The proud 68-year-old buffalo owner explained that he has a very special sentimental connection to his pet because he is the only one he was able to stay with after in 2004, he had to sell the 52 he had to pay for his medical expenses.

But, as much as he wanted it, it was not he who had the idea of taking him inside the house, but of his wife, who was happy to leave him outside when they brought the two dogs into the house. "You don't understand, it's a buffalo, perhaps it will leave us homeless [if we let it in]," he replied.

But they dared, and now the Bridges have made it a part of their home: they have a place at their table, they watch television, they became friends with their dogs and they were even best friends with the groom when they got married.

The couple acknowledges that a couple of times they got rid of the huge pet causing serious accidents, so they do not recommend that others approach the specimen.
