The death of the actors of the successful series of Televisa Without fear of the truth, Jorge Navarro Sánchez and Luis Gerardo Rivera, who lost their lives last week after falling from a bridge at a location in Mexico City while rehearsing a scene from the third season of fiction, has generated a protest movement on social networks among the acting union.

Several Mexican actors have raised their voices on their respective Twitter accounts to demand more measures to guarantee the safety of the actors during filming.

One of them was Alfonso Herrera, who last weekend posted an image on his Twitter profile where the following message can be read:

"Enough of 'saving your budget' in security during a shoot, no more labor negligence."

Jose Luis Resendez, who gave life to The Teak superset of Telemundo Señora Acero, complained meanwhile that the productions take lightly the safety of the actors something that, as told through their social networks has touched suffer while filming action scenes.

"Unfortunately, this has always been the case […] and I am aware that I have made this type of scenes and have ended up interned due to the imprudence of some production," denounced the actor, who last year announced his retirement from Hispanic television in protest at the numerous injustices that, according to him, the actors suffer daily from the 'television monsters'.

It was also asked how long these abuses will continue to be allowed.

"I wonder, how long will the actors raise their voices and talk about all the abuses and injustices that exist in the artistic medium?" He wrote in a second message.
