Almost five years have passed since the death of the iconic comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños. His widow Florinda Meza turned to his YouTube channel to remember his late husband and share special moments from his life as a couple.

“One Friday at 1:26 pm on November 28, 2014 Roberto had the longest nap of his life. and since then his presence has filled all the spaces of my existence. Five years have passed. I don't know how we could all have been without him. We all have something of him, his legacy, a legacy in which he showed us a world with humanity”, Meza said excitedly assuring that this was the day that her life stopped making sense.

In recent times Florinda Meza was in the public eye after the death of her partner. While still retired from acting. But this year, after thirty years away from the screens, she returned in a movie titled Sweet Family, in which she shared credits with Vadhir Derbez and Fernanda Castillo.

The interpreter of the character Doña Florinda opened her heart and revealed the real reason why she stayed away from film and television for so long; although she admits that she had some participations in the theater thanks to stagings made by her late partner.

"No one was calling me. I who would most like to have worked. No one has ever called me, "she said. "Once I entered Chespirito, no one ever called me again."

However, in the video that she recently published, the actress described her old life with Chespirito as fragments and "magical" moments.

“Our time together was memorable, because even though each day seemed the same the other was not. We made sure that it was different and the magical moment presented itself because we wanted it that way. At night we were exhausted, but we never slept without thanking God for what we lived and the next day I said "Good morning my joy" and sleepy, you answered "Good morning my sweet sunrise". Now each day seems to me exactly the same as the previous one”.

On November 28, they commemorate five years of the death of one of the most internationally recognized Spanish-speaking comedians, Chespirito.
