When it comes to beauty products, there are many things we don't know yet. Even with all the information that now exists on social networks, many women do not fully understand how they should be applied or saved so that they do not lose their effectiveness. There are also many products that can be used in various ways and most of the time we do not have that information and therefore we lose the opportunity to get the most out of them.

To get out of any doubt, nothing better than talking to the experts in the field. That's why we interviewed Emer Gillen, an expert in skin care at Elemis, who shared with us valuable advice about the ingredients our skin needs to stay radiant.

According to Gillen, there's nothing like using products that are packed with natural ingredients, especially superfoods like broccoli and avocado.

“To maintain that glow and freshness on the skin, the products of the Elefood Superfood line are excellent. They are composed of ingredients full of antioxidants such as broccoli, wheat grass, avocado oil, green tea, fermented ginger and Goji berries, explains the expert.

Gillen also shared some of his best tips to get the most out of the products. Check out their tips below.

-Use your tonic as setting spray. It will help you balance the PH of the skin, refine the pores and also increase hydration throughout the day.

-Keep the perfume away from your neck and cleavage. Alcohol [containing perfumes] dries, irritates and weakens the skin.

-Observe where you store your products. These should not be stored in warm places or where the sun hits them directly as this can affect the ingredients and cause them to "sweat" by adding water to themselves which causes bacteria.

-Don't be afraid to change your routine during the year. Your skin is always changing and evolving, as is the environment around us. Changing some products helps our skin to stay stimulated and fresh.
