Almost three months after the death of Kate Spade, the eponymous brand that she founded presented her new collection during New York Fashion Week. Although at the time of her suicide the designer no longer owned the brand, the new creative director, Nicola Glass did not miss the moment to pay tribute to the beloved and talented designer.

The brand's spring / summer 2019 collection was presented at the Celeste Bartos public bookstore and in each seat the guests found a delicate pastel pink card on the front saying, 'she left a sparkle wherever she went', while the part of At the back he said, “with love in his memory 1962-2018”.

In the fabulous and flirtatious collection, with a seventies air, we saw a range of pieces ideal for today's woman. We saw Dresses with feminine silhouettes and striking prints, strong colors and unexpected combinations. The collection also included balloon sleeves, over-the-knee boots, scarves, which the models wore as turbans, and flirty bags with the chic twist of the new creative director.

To accompany the exquisite pieces, the models wore a supernatural makeup where they highlighted the eyes with golden glitter shades, while the hair wore it in its natural texture.

Nails are also an important part of every show and for the Kate Spade show the brand in charge of leaving the perfect nails was Essie. In this case they made a supernatural look with an almost transparent pastel pink tone and on top they put an enamel with a very subtle shine. The result was a simple and feminine nail look with a fun touch.
