Dior Show In Paris

The Paris Haute Couture fashion week has already started and one of the first shows of the season was Christian Dior, one that left more than one speechless. The stage, the incredible designs, the makeup and the original accessories that paraded down that catwalk are already on everyone's lips and it's not for less. In the spring / summer 2018 collection, made up mostly of black and white pieces, drama and transparency reigned.

Spectacular flared dresses, tulle and lace paraded down the catwalk made of tiles also in black and white. But most striking were the masks, some in tulle and others in metal, which perfectly combined the extravagant makeup of the models.

Makeup, especially on the eyes, reflected the era of the 60s when the model Twiggy popularized spider-style eyelashes and everyone wanted to copy it. The Dior models did exactly that but even more exaggerated with the help of a liner instead of a mascara, and the result was spectacular.

Without a doubt, the Dior show was one without waste and gave new meaning and height to the black and white pieces, leaving behind the theory that in spring and summer pastel colors are worn or flowers reign supreme. Thanks Dior for giving us the green light to continue using those tones that we like so much in that season.
