In addition to sharing a surname and that their ancestors are from Puerto Rico, they have little in common with Adamari and Jennifer López. However, yesterday the presenter of A new day chose for a charity event a look very similar to that worn by the singer from the Bronx a few weeks before at the Met Gala and we cannot help but wonder: who wore it better?
The dress that JLo wore on her first red carpet with her new boyfriend Álex Rodríguez, was a Valentino haute couture tailored for the occasion. The sky blue chiffon outfit had a cape that also doubled as a tail and, combined with the hair tied back in a high ponytail and the Harry Winston diamond earrings she chose, gave the artist a Hollywood diva look more classic.
This dress was also chosen by Adamari in blue chiffon and with train to receive the Lifetime Achievement award at the gala organized by St. Jude Hospital in Miami. Accompanied by her husband Toni Acosta, the host once again entrusted her look to Colombian designer Gustavo Arango, as she did last week at the Los 50 Más Bellos gala.
Like the singer, Alaïa's mother combined the dress with a silver clutch, but chose more discreet earrings and loose hair that gave the look a more casual air.
