Just as the internet was calming down after seeing the photos from his fun vacation, Barack Obama started sporting a cool dad style that is causing a sensation.

First, thousands of social media users became obsessed with the leather jacket he used to go to the National Museum of Art in March, and then freaked out to see him wearing fully unbuttoned shirts.

On the new cover of People magazine, where Obama appears with his wife Michelle, Anita Decker, the family's chief of staff, explained how he is adapting to his new lifestyle.

“He has had that jacket for a long time. He loves it. People think it looks good on him,”says Decker of the now-famous brown leather coat. "I think he had not had the opportunity to use it. When has a president come out in a leather jacket? That's something you don't see."

Decker also confessed that Obama is enjoying not having to wear a suit and tie every day.

"Imagine having to wear a suit and tie almost every day for eight years," he said. "Even more [I think], about ten years."

As for his other favorite style - unbuttoned shirts in full - Attorney Eric Holder is taking credit.

"[Barack] is copying me in that sense. He has always buttoned too many buttons, "the lawyer told the magazine.
