Whenever we see a Latina who is doing something great in the world of fashion or beauty, we do not hesitate to present her and celebrate her achievements. That is why we invited Regina Merson to our offices, the creator of the Reina Rebelde makeup line that is inspired by the duality of the Latin woman, her Hispanic heritage and, of course, her beauty.

The Mexican, who from a very young age had a great fondness for makeup, left her job as a bankruptcy lawyer, to go out in search of her dream. "It wasn't filling me up," recalls Merson, who was inspired by the iconic Mexican soap opera Rosa Salvatore and the beauty of her grandmother to create the line. "I want to do something that can inspire the Latin woman, that is inspired by my experience as a Latin woman who is also in many ways American but still very Mexican, and in all the dualities that we have."

The brand stands out for its charm and personality, from its packaging decorated with images of miracle tattoos representing aspects of Latin culture, to the names of the products: Chicana, Rosa Salvaje, Malinche, Oaxaca and Zapatista, for example. "All the names are in Spanish and are inspired by my Mexican experience," says the businesswoman from Guadalajara.

At the moment, the line is made up of lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, eyeliners, an eyelash kit, another to do contour, cosmetic bag and brushes, and you can find it at reinarebelde.com
