And the Oscar for the best makeup look is … Emma Stone ! The beautiful redhead, who yesterday won the statuette for best actress, wore a look of impeccable beauty that complemented her glamorous golden dress for the most important night of cinema. Stone, who stars in the celebrated movie La La Land alongside Ryan Gosling, wore NARS signature makeup to get her classic and elegant look.
"Emma's look was about glamor in 1930s Hollywood. Her makeup is inspired by the romantic paintings of Dante Gabriel Rossetti, " said star makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.
To prepare the skin, Goodwin applied Velvet Matte Skin Tint foundation.
She put Orgasm Liquid Blush on her cheeks, which will be available soon. Until then, the brand recommends using Orgasm Blush to achieve the effect.
Mona Audacious Lipstick was applied to her brick red lipstick.
For the hair look, Mara Roszak, a stylist at L'Oréal Paris, thought of the Givenchy outfit that Stone wore to inspire her look. "The dress has a beautiful long silhouette that has an air of a goddess of the 40s," said Roszak. "To complement the dress, I made the hair look brushed with soft curls, like a dream."
To prepare her mane Roszak used L'Oreal's Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Inject Volume Mousse on wet hair, and then parted it.
Then, dry it with Dyson's Supersonic Hair Dryer with a round brush to create a smooth foundation.
Then she used a 1-inch curling iron to create curls out of her face, and fixed them with L'Oreal's Elnett Satin Hairspray.
With his fingers he opened the curls and put the L'Oreal Boost It High Lift Creation Spray to give it more volume.
She brushed the curls to make them softer and give her that lovely final look. To finish, she applied the Elnett Satin Hairspray again to fix it and it will last all night.
