If you have a tattoo that you do not want to show on some occasion, or a scar on some part of your skin that bothers you to show, do not worry, makeup is also your ally in these cases and allows you to hide those details. The make-up artist Derek Selby of the firm Cover FX, shows us step by step how to do it in five minutes using only two products.

First apply a cream base with your finger. Selby uses the Total Cover Cream Foundation, whose texture allows you to mix various shades to create the one that most closely resembles your skin.

Then use a clean brush to blend the edges of the area where you applied makeup. Leave a lot of product in the center and, in a circular motion, go blurring around, to integrate the base into your skin.

It then uses a translucent powder to seal the base. This way you not only make it last longer, but also make it waterproof. To do this, saturate the brush in the powder and tap it on its back so that the powder penetrates between the bristles. Then pat the makeup lightly.

If necessary, reapply foundation and powder, until your tattoo, scar or mark of any kind is not visible.

Finally, if you want to give your makeup a more natural look, try to imitate the details of your skin, such as veins or redness. For that, use blush or eyeshadow and try to make it imperfect to completely hide the area.
