The makeup artist of the firm of false eyelashes Ardell, Jade Munson, shows us how easy it is to place them, with a little practice, and the aspects to take into account.

1. Before placing the eyelashes we must measure if they fit with the size of our eyes. For that, they are placed on our tabs. If they protrude, they are cut using scissors, from the band down, not from the side of the eyelashes.

2. Then apply the glue on the strip that connects the eyelashes, with a fine thread is enough. The good thing about the glue that Munson is using, is that it is a paste that, when dried, turns black, so it goes unnoticed on the eyelid, it can even save you from using eyeliner. The glue should be allowed to dry for about 15 seconds, so that it thickens. If we put the tab on too soon, the glue is fresh and the lashes may slip.

3. Before choosing a type of eyelashes, we have to think about the look we want: dramatic, natural, open our eyes … and with that in mind, choose the model that best fits.

4. It is important to put the lashes in last place, after having done the rest of the makeup.

5. Finally, we must pay special attention to the ends, both inside and outside, because they are the first thing to come off, so they must be well secured.
