Alejandra Guzmán: Her Daughter Frida Sofía Did Not “call” Her On Mother's Day

Despite the fact that Frida Sofía Guzmán shook the networks this Sunday when she published a message apologizing to her mother, Alejandra Guzmán and her cousin Michelle Salas, the rocker assures that her daughter did not even call her on Mother's Day.

The holiday is celebrated every May 10 in Mexico and that day Frida was conspicuous by her absence, at least so the singer pointed out in an interview that was broadcast by Un Nuevo Día (Telemundo). Surrounded by journalists, Ale was approached to talk about how she planned to celebrate her mother, Mrs. Silvia Pinal. "I brought him food, I brought him flowers and my love because I didn't have more time," he said, holding a smile.

When they questioned her about what her daughter told her through the networks and if they had spoken for Mother's Day, the rocker replied: She has not called me but well … I love her, I love her and wherever I am I will send her Kisses,”he assured, avoiding making any statement about the explosive words that his daughter published on networks.

Through her posts Frida has declared that she grew up without her mother and that since she was 12 years old “she lives alone”, leaving her 16 without adult supervision.

Although he did not mention names, it is evident that part of his message was addressed to his mother and the daughter of Luis Miguel, against whom he has carried force on previous occasions.

However, in her post this Sunday, Frida has stated that she plans to leave the past behind and that from now on there will be a clean slate and a new account.

"Yesterday I fell asleep crying and today I woke up with tears in my eyes," he wrote. "I have carried a lot of rancor, fear, secrets and lies all my life, and my behavior lately reflects how hurt my soul is."

"I apologize to the one I hurt in one way or another, with or without intention," he stated bluntly, pointing out that from now on, all he wants is "to live."
