William Levy is an actor, but above all Dad. The Cuban heartthrob recently touched social networks after sharing, as he rarely does, a beautiful video in which he can be seen enjoying a nice walk in the company of his two children: Christopher, 11, and Kailey, 7.

Although the recording caused a lot of tenderness among the unconditional fans of the unforgettable protagonist of successful soap operas such as Triumph of Love or Beware of the Angel, it also generated great controversy because their offspring appear to speak English, something that did not sit well with some of the Latino followers of the 37-year-old actor.

"Why if the two are Latino, don't they encourage children to speak Spanish when they are at home?" Asked an annoyed follower of the Cuban leading man.

"How sad when I see Latino parents incorporating English as their mother tongue!" Commented another person.

While a third expressed: “The largest number of fans are Latinos, I think they deserve to be able to understand what they are talking about. You should have a minimum of consideration with the people who follow you and don't understand them.”

This is not the first time that both Levy and his partner, also actress and businesswoman Elizabeth Gutiérrez, have received negative comments of this style for giving priority to English in the privacy of their home.

In fact, months ago Gutiérrez faced criticism by sharing a video in which he showed that his children also know how to speak Spanish.
