“She is shameless for being the most beautiful, she has almost nothing, but she likes expensive life […]”, this is how the main musical theme for Rubí, the successful soap opera starring Bárbara Mori, Eduardo Santamarina and Sebastián, began in 2004 Rulli under the executive production of José Alberto Castro.
Now, fifteen years later, the original story of Yolanda Vargas Dulche returns to television in 2020 as part of Fábrica de Sueños, the ambitious project by Televisa that updates some of the most successful novels of the last decades in serial dramas made in formats of 25 chapters with the highest production values.
Starring Camila Sodi in the character that catapulted the renowned actress of Uruguayan origin to fame, the new version of Rubí in serial format will soon land in Univision prime time with José Ron and Rodrigo Guirao as the main stars of history.
"This version is very different from the other in all aspects," Sodi assured Televisa Espectáculos months ago.

The new version of Rubí revolves around a young journalist named Camila (Ela Velden) who convinces Rubí (Sodi), a mysterious woman who lives in seclusion in a dark mansion, to tell the story of her life and why she isolated herself from the outside world of their own free will.
He learns then that she was an ambitious woman of humble origin determined to use her stunning beauty and feminine wiles to escape poverty without caring if she harmed innocent people to do so.
Fiction also features the participation of the Mexican presenter Alejandra Espinoza, who plays Sonia, a character played by Marlene Favela fifteen years ago.
