The year 2020 is like who says just around the corner and the television networks are already ready the new fictions that will be released during the first quarter of next year.

One of those stories that we can see soon in Hispanic prime time will be Operación Pacífico, the new Telemundo superseries that marks the expected return to the Majida Issa network.

The Colombian actress, who played La Diabla in the successful soap opera Sin senos si hay paradise between 2016 and 2018, is heading this new fiction together with Mark Tacher.

The chain began promoting this week the premiere of this new superset that is based on real events and that will land in 2020 in Hispanic prime time.

"Sometimes the most delicate jewel has to be transformed into the hardest rock", were the words that Telemundo wrote along with the first promotional video of the fiction in which only Majida Issa appears on stage in the skin of Captain Amalia Ortega.

Operation Pacífico, whose recordings have been in Colombia for several months, tells the story of Amalia Ortega, a brave woman, wife, mother and captain of the Secret Intelligence Unit of the Police. Amalia's main objective is to capture El Guapo (Bracho), a mysterious and powerful Mexican drug trafficker for whom she will put her profession, her life and that of her family at risk.

Only her inexhaustible determination will help her complete the mission.

The superset includes in its cast Julio Bracho (Fugitive), Christian Tappan (The Queen of the South), Luciano D'Alessandro (Mi gorda bella), Klemen Novak (The Americans), Ernesto Benjumea (Pablo Escobar: the patron of evil), Shany Nadan (Bolívar), Johanna Fadul (Without breasts, there is paradise), Emmanuel Orenday (The Queen of the South) and Cynthia Alesco (The Queen of the South), in addition to the special participation of Jorge Enrique Abello, the unforgettable protagonist of the successful Colombian soap opera Yo soy Betty, la fea, who returns to Telemundo with this story.

The fiction consists of 60 episodes and its release date has not yet been revealed.
