Dona 2: Trailer And Release Date With Aracely Arámbula

Everyone believed her dead, but Altagracia Sandoval, alias La dona, will soon be back and stronger than ever.

Telemundo announced this Sunday, during the broadcast of Miss Universe 2019, the premiere date of the much-announced second season of the successful soap opera starring Mexican actress Aracely Arámbula in the skin of the dreaded 'doña'.

Fiction, also headed by David Zepeda, Carlos Ponce, Kika Edgar, Maricela González and Danna Paola, will land at the beginning of the year in Hispanic prime time.

It will be on Monday, January 13 at 9 pm EST when the new chapters of this original Telemundo production written by José Vicente Spataro begin to be broadcast, which, this time, will not feature the leading performance of David Chocarro.

In the end of the previous season, Altagracia (Arámbula) decided to retire to start a new life after her daughter Mónica (Danna) married Saúl (Chocarro).

Two years later, Mónica and Saúl Aguirre continue together, he as a lawyer at the head of the Renacer Foundation and she as a law student, and together with her aunt Regina they fight to eradicate gender violence.

This is not to the liking of those responsible for the crimes, including the Arcoiris, a gang known for killing women after torturing them with bullets of paint. Saúl thus becomes a victim by mysteriously disappearing.

Concerned about the safety of her daughter, La doña makes the decision to return to Mexico to look for him without caring that she has to face justice and meet again with José Luis Navarrete (Zepeda), a businessman with whom she has many pending issues.

The panorama still gets even darker when Mónica also disappears and agent León Contreras (Ponce) links this fact with the band Los Arcoiris.

Altagracia, however, refuses to believe this and suspects her enemies.

The lady is not the only one who will fight to do justice. Along the way, she will be accompanied by Noelia Molina (Paola Fernández), a young woman of humble origin who is also looking for the culprits of her sister's death on her own.

Both, together with León, will form a team with a common goal: to avenge the death and aggression of their loved ones.
