The premiere last Monday October 14 of the seventh season of El señor de los cielos (Telemundo) led to the surprise death of its protagonist, Aurelio Casillas (Rafael Amaya), the character; however, it has continued to appear in veteran fiction in various previously unreleased scenes that have been broadcast throughout the superset for the past few weeks.

The reappearance of the renowned Mexican actor on Telemundo screens has generated a lot of controversy among the followers of this successful fiction because many fans have noticed that the 42-year-old interpreter looks different.

“Rafael Amaya looks like but he doesn't speak the same, he's hoarse, and his face looks different. Something changed him, he also has a belly and he limps in the few chapters where he is remembered. All of this is very strange,”commented a surprised viewer on the Instagram of The Lord of the Skies.

"His voice is different, he is no longer the same Aurelio as before," wrote another person.

The controversy has reached such an extreme that some even doubt that the actor who appears in those scenes is really Amaya.

"From a distance it shows that it is not Rafael, this is a badly made double", can be read among the hundreds of comments that are poured daily on networks about fiction.

The real Rafael Amaya

The truth is that Amaya is the actor that appears in those scenes, as confirmed by one of the superstars of the superset through social networks.

"How strange it is that they do not recognize the true Aurelio, there he is, that is, the same, without doubles," said Alan Slim, who plays Jaime.

Indeed, on his expected return months ago to the recording set, in addition to recording the scene of Aurelio's death, Rafael filmed these other scenes that are gradually being introduced into the superset through flashbacks.

The Lord of the Skies 7 airs at 10 pm ET on Telemundo.
