The successful Ocean's Eleven heist series is getting a reboot but it's all about girl power this time.
Warner Bros. will be filming an all-female spinoff titled Ocean's Ocho, with seven of the eight main roles already cast, reported Deadline. The star-studded affair includes Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina. There is no word on who will fill the role of the eighth member.
Many fear the movie's fate after the poor box office numbers of the Ghostbusters women-led sequel.
Gary Ross, the director for The Hunger Games, will direct the film with production beginning in October in New York.
No release date has been announced.
