Singer Posing As Kidnapped

On May 31, it was announced that the Spanish singer Javier Moros, better known as Javo, had disappeared after receiving death threats. It was the Asturian himself who disclosed this information on his Facebook page, although he did not report the fact to the police.

Her roommate was the one who reported her disappearance on May 26, after arriving at Moros' home and finding the furniture lying around and traces of blood.

This Monday Javo was arrested. He faces charges of identity theft and documentary falsehood after faking a kidnapping in order to promote his latest record material titled From Gulf to Husband, the Europa Press agency reported.

The singer reappeared on June 1, in Ibiza. The musician, through a video made by him, explained that he had mixed alcohol with the medications he takes for an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder that he suffers and apologized for the inconvenience caused by his alleged disappearance.

“I want to apologize to all the people who have felt affected; that they have worried about me and they have wasted their time looking for me”, she explained in the short film. “I assume all kinds of criticism; as well as I will assume the responsibility of the expenses that this may have caused”.

The excuses for the disappearance were not clear to the police and investigations continued. It was discovered that the singer tried to hide his intentions using the identity of a friend to travel and stay at the mentioned resort.

Javier Moros has already made the corresponding statement and was released; although the judicial process continues.
