Giuliana Rancic Technology Behind Her Fountain Of Truth Beauty Line

With nearly a 20-year career in American television, Italian-American presenter Giuliana Rancic has become one of the most beloved and respected presenters in the industry. Her life changed when in 2011 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After undergoing radiation treatment and finally having a bilateral mastectomy, Rancic decided to change the way he cared for his skin and, not finding good and suitable products for people who have gone through the same process, he decided to create his own line of beauty, which he named Fountain of Truth.

We spoke to her to tell us all about the brand she launched late last year and to explain why all women, with or without health problems, should use it.

Giuliana, why is your line different from others that claim to be free of ingredients that are harmful to the skin?

I wanted to create a line with clean, effective and skin-friendly products for people of all ages and ethnicities. Our technology is a complex of fermented botanical ingredients. When the ingredients are fermented, their effectiveness increases because they dissolve and can penetrate better and thus improve the texture of the skin. If the molecules are small they can better penetrate the skin to hydrate it and leave it softer. Fermentation also helps make the ingredients more concentrated. That makes the products gentle on the skin, but also highly effective in aiding the texture, tone, dryness and appearance of fine lines.

After my cancer experience, I started cleaning all areas of my life, including what I put into my body. I was using natural home remedies because I couldn't find a skincare line with clean ingredients that was effective in treating expression lines, discoloration and other skin problems. That is why I created a line with clean and effective ingredients to share it with everyone.

What are your favorite Fountain of Truth products?

Telling you is a little difficult because I use them every day and I love them. But if I had to choose one, I would choose the flagship product, The Truth Insta-Face Lift Elixir, which is a light treatment with botanicals that helps fight the signs of aging. This product was created to combat expression lines and wrinkles, and to give a volume effect on the skin. With its continuous use the skin looks more radiant.
