Both the fashion and beauty worlds have changed a lot and thanks to those changes we have seen more people feel identified in the campaigns that the brands do. Every day we see plus size models parading during New York Fashion Week, and they are even selected to do super important campaigns. In fact, at the beginning of the year, the cosmetic brand Benefit chose a young woman with Down syndrome, to be the image, in Ireland, of one of its eyeliners. Now those steps are being followed by the popular Zara store, who has just chosen a child with the same condition to star in her next campaign.

The little one is called Patrick, better known as Roscón, he is 11 years old and is the son of the famous Spanish chef Samantha Vallejo-Nágera, also the mother of little Diego, 8, who accompanies his brother in said project.

"When your son is the first model with Down syndrome on the Zara website and you are dying of what it means," Nágera wrote in the foot of a photo she published on her Instagram account. "Thank you for loving him so much."

The curious thing is that the boy is the nephew of Nicolás Vallejo Nájera, the ex of Paulina Rubio and father of his first-born.

The little one appears in fun photos with his brother on the brand's website and carrying the new summer collection for children.

Bravo Zara! Thank you for setting the example and campaigning with more sense and more inclusive.
