Any ordinary person begins to fill the trunk of memories and memories from the age of 4, however, there are human beings who remember every detail of their lives since they came to this world. "I remember how, with just a week to live, I was wrapped in a pink cotton blanket," Rebecca Sharrock told the BBC. “For some reason I always knew if it was my mother who was holding me. She was my favorite person and instinctively I knew I was with her."

What makes this 24-year-old Australian remember the day she was born? It is called hypertimesia, better known as the Superior Autobiographical Memory Syndrome (Hyperthymesia Syndrome, HSAM). This disorder allows people to remember any event that they have experienced, for example, they can mention a certain date and they will describe in detail the events that occurred, what's more, even the weather and other trivial data that ordinary people cannot evoke.

This syndrome was discovered in 2000 when a young woman named Jill Price wrote a letter to neuroscientist Jim McGaugh and asked him why he could remember all the details of his life since he was 11 years old. So far there is a figure that 60 people live with this condition.
