The sad reality of the coronavirus brings with it news full of pain every day, but within the agony there are also kind gestures that return light and hope. For example, that of Clara Alvarado, the Spanish actress starring in one of the most successful series at the moment, La casa de papel.
The interpreter has hung her Dalí mask in the famous Netflix plot to put on a hospital mask and exercise the profession she studied before turning to acting. Clara is a nurse and because of this global health crisis she has not thought twice and has volunteered.
Through her Instagram account, Clara has shown the marks on her face after hours in the hospital helping patients with the coronavirus. A gesture that has reached the hearts of her followers.
The 29-year-old explained to the Europa Press agency that all this is being a “reality hit”. Unfortunately it is not fiction, it is a sad reality that you have decided to face with courage.
"It is very different from anything I have experienced and, of course, it is not a movie, I do not have to imagine anything," he said days before the fourth season of the successful series premieres. Clara assumed from the beginning that you couldn't look away and turn your back on this problem, so she put on her uniform and got to work.
"I wanted to go to a place where I could be useful … In the end I found a place where I could play a good role and help with a healthcare team behind me to support you," he continues. So it has been. Another of the many gestures of this tough crisis that pushes us to continue believing and having faith.
