Non-toxic Nail Polishes

The revolution of “clean” cosmetics, free of chemicals, silicones, parabens, etc. Every time it gains more ground to traditional cosmetics and now it is the turn of manicure. The maxim followed by most alternative enamel brands that call themselves non-toxic is to not include at least these 3 ingredients: dibutyl phthalate (DnBP), toluene, and formaldehyde, after they were linked to fertility problems, problems neurological and developmental and cancer.

When I read more about this topic and how the presence of these chemicals had even been found in fetuses, I promised myself never to do the manicure again, but when summer ended I felt the call of color, of blue, purple again and burgundy that feels so good with the most autumn looks. And what to do?

Then I realized the amount of emails and information that I have been receiving in the last months about these new enamels that, although I knew that they did not include those toxic ingredients, I had never tried and I decided to give 10Free Chemistry a try, a brand made in the USA that promises to be formulated with 85 percent natural ingredients and does not include those 3 elements, nor others such as mineral oils, camphor or parabens, among others.

The color offer is as appetizing as that of traditional enamels. My favorite for this fall that has already started to envy my friends is Moody Blue, a pastel blue that draws lilac-gray and combines perfectly with the oranges, golds and burgundies that predominate in my wardrobe this season.
