For those who did not know, in addition to being an actress, producer and mother of two girls, Eva Mendes is also a fashion designer and businesswoman. The Cuban-born actress launched her line of clothing and accessories 6 years ago, New York & Company, which this past September 10 released her latest collection with less success than she expected.

Okay, I want your comments about the clothes […] I'm thinking about how to make you, our consumers happy,”opened fire yesterday on Instagram along with an image of her in her meeting with one of the striped suits that are part of her latest collection. “This suit is not selling as well as I thought, girls and boys… please tell me why. What you do not like? It's cool, easy, feels good, very 90's, I love it! This is what design meetings are for. I listen to you, your comments and feedback… I am all ears”.

Although many fans of the actress and her brand have limited themselves to saying how beautiful the costume in question, others have not given in giving an honest answer to why they do not like it.

"Avoid, I think the color looks good on you, but not many of us can wear it that way," wrote one user. "I prefer one-color suits, I like the length of the pants, but the jacket seems too big."

“I think it is difficult to wear a suit like this often because the print is easy to remember, for those of us who need to [wear] suits it is a bit limited. I like it, but those of us who work in conservative environments want to get more out of the investment,”wrote another to whom Mendes herself has directly thanked her participation through a comment on the photo.
