Univision Debuts Soap Opera By Irina Baeva

Univision once again bets on the talent and beauty of Irina Baeva to continue conquering its faithful viewers.

After her recent success in The Dragon, a series in which she gave life to Jimena, the Russian-born actress will once again be part of the network's programming schedule, this time in the 3 pm Eastern time slot, with a new story that is not really so new.

We are talking about I declare myself guilty, a melodrama that Gabriel Soto's couple starred in 2017 with Juan Diego Covarrubias, Juan Soler, Mayrín Villanueva and Daniela Castro and that Univision will begin broadcasting on Monday, February 17, if there are no last changes hour.

Produced by Angelli Nesma for Televisa, the soap opera premiered in Mexico in November 2017 and ended on January 28 of the following year after just over 60 episodes.

The melodrama tells the story of Alba (Villanueva), a woman who made the decision to disconnect her husband from the mechanical assistance that kept him alive after suffering from a terminal illness. This decision costs him freedom and to be judged by the laws and society.

Franco Urzúa (Soler), a prestigious lawyer, will take over Alba's defense, in what will be the most challenging case he has ever brought.

Irina, who currently triumphs in Mexico as the villain of the successful romantic comedy Soltero con hijas, plays Natalia, the young protagonist, in this story.

His character falls in love with Paolo, a young man played by Juan Diego Covarrubias.

I plead guilty will take over from February 17 the soap opera Daughters of the Moon, which is already in its last chapters by Univision.
