I Give You Life: This Is The New Univision Soap Opera With José Ron

José Ron has become Univision's undisputed good luck charm. Telenovela that stars, telenovela that records high audience numbers, so it is not surprising that now that Ringo is coming to an end -the melodrama ends this Tuesday, March 24- the chain continues to trust the actor to continue covering part of its stellar programming. Thus, after the outcome of Ringo, Univision will premiere in April I give you life, the new soap opera headed by the 38-year-old gallant under the production of Lucero Suárez.

The melodrama, which has been recorded since last year in Mexico and in which Ron shares credits with Eva Cedeño, Jorge Salinas, Erika Buenfil and César Évora, among a great cast, will land in Hispanic prime time on Monday, April 13 at 8 pm Eastern time.

“It is a story for the whole family and it is about a child who is adopted and gives him leukemia and will need a bone marrow transplant. It is a very emotional story and I think we are all very moved and it comes to us that a child is sick,”producer Lucero Suárez tells People en Español, who always bets on her productions to give positive messages and full of hope.

"I think that in this life you have to talk about positive things, you have to talk about how everything in life can be achieved with love and set a good example," he shares.

For the third consecutive time, the also producer of Ringo and Enamorándome de Ramón once again trusts Ron to lead one of her soap operas.

“It is the third time that he stars with me and the truth is that he has given the characteristics that I need for the protagonist. I have got on well with him, he is a very disciplined person and he handles melodrama very well. I feel very comfortable with it, he says.

José Ron and Leonardo Herrera, father and son in I give you life

I give you life tells the story of two families who come into contact through Nicolás (Leonardo Herrera), adoptive son of Elena (Cedeño) and Ernesto (Jorge Salinas).

Elena, Ernesto and Nicolás were a happy family until Nicolás was diagnosed with leukemia.

The plot begins when the family is in a desperate situation, Nicolás urgently needs a bone marrow transplant and only Pedro (Ron), Nicolás' biological father, is compatible with him.

The melodrama also features performances by Omar Fierro, Nuria Bages, Óscar Bonfiglio, Camila Selser, Arturo Carmona, Daniela Perea, Ricardo Margaleff, Gloria Sierra, Ara Saldívar, Octavio Ocaña and Mike Biagio, among others.
