In addition to the surprise and unexpected death of Aurelio Casillas (Rafael Amaya), the seventh season of El señor de los cielos marked the return to history of Luzma, the youngest daughter of the famous drug trafficker who until now had been played by Gala Montes.

The character reappeared, however, with a new face, that of the Mexican actress Renata Manterola, after Gala made the decision to renounce fiction as she was not satisfied with the direction her participation was going to take, as stated in her moment exclusively to People en Español.

The 19-year-old interpreter was recently questioned about this matter through her social networks, where the actress had no problem responding.

"What do you think of the new Luzma", asked a follower.

To which Gala was quick to respond:

"I have not been able to see it because here [in Mexico] it has not yet come out, but it is surely doing a great job," the Mexican actress wrote in response.

It was in June of this year when Gala revealed in an exclusive interview for People en Español the reason that led her to give up her participation in the veteran superset.
