Apparently, since we are still in quarantine, Netflix has been in charge of providing us with enough material (eye, good), to entertain us a little during these days of leisure. So, here I have them for this week, I mean the series and movies that you can already watch at home. Here they go!
Crip Camp
We start with the documentary "Crip Camp", produced by none other than Barack and Michelle Obama. He navigates the stories of a group of teenagers, now adults, who belonged to a disabled people's camp in 1971. These young people became activists demanding their rights and definitely made history. A project worthy of being seen and shared.
Code 8
And we continue with the film “Code 8”, quite unreal, but full of a lot of action for those fans of science fiction and suspense. This story unfolds in a world where a specific percentage, say 4 percent of its inhabitants, are born with supernatural abilities. These individuals, unlike the superheroes we know, are not billionaires but low-income people who have resorted to crime. Starring Robbie and Stephen Amell, this is an ideal choice for lovers of this genre.
"Tiger Tail" or "Tiger Tail"
Here is the story of Grover, an immigrant who decides to travel to the United States, fleeing his reality in Taiwan and leaving behind memories of the extreme poverty that he lived during his childhood. The man has turned away from the love of his life to go with another woman who has offered him a new adventure. A story that tells a harsh social reality with which many will feel identified.
The Last Airbender
With a triumphal entry, this famous film arrives that, between you and me, Netflix will turn into a whole series that is already in full recording. Meanwhile, I tell you that this film is a roller coaster of emotions. After the declaration of war and revolution between the four elements (air, water, earth and fire), Aang is born, a young man who discovers he has the power to control these elements and joins forces to restore balance and harmony in his world. A perfect classic to see this weekend.
Sees it. Wedding. Repeat
And to say goodbye, we are going to a lighter and more comical proposal, it is “Love. Wedding. Repeat”or“Love. Wedding. Repeat . A romantic comedy whose story follows three versions of the same wedding that unfold when a boy named Jack tries to make sure his little sister has the perfect wedding day. I think it has happened to all of us. The difference is that Jack will try everything, literally everything.
And well, this is how I leave you with these five warm options to enjoy from home. See you next week with other recommendations to see on the small screen. Let's take the remote control and enjoy!
