When José José was brought to Miami, unexpectedly, he had special services such as ground transportation and an air ambulance. Until the death of the singer it had been a mystery who was responsible for paying for said trip in conditions that were extremely expensive; Now, Lino Solano, the bodyguard hired by Sarita Sosa for this process, tells the whole truth about it.
"I, from the entrance of the building, begin to carry out the procedures to contract and coordinate ground transportation and air transportation services," Solano explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). “At that time I had no knowledge. At the end of the day, the one who was paying for all those services was José José himself”.
The bodyguard does not know how the singer agreed to move to Miami, after speaking privately with his youngest daughter, Sarita. Then, he proceeded to hire "last minute" transportation for the respective trip.
“It is a mystery, really, what happened in that time that he was inside the room with Sara Sosa; nobody knows, "he warned. "I know, and I think that all the people who were present with him at the signing of the contract, we know that José José twice told us 'I'm not going to Miami.'"
For her part, Laura Núñez, assistant to the Prince of Song, thanked Lino Solano for telling the truth about what happened when he was brought to the United States, because Sarita "terrified us terribly that there were snipers."
"They are giving me a pleasant surprise because Lino gave us a tremendous scare, telling us so many things about the secret service," Núñez told the media. "If it's a relief, I didn't know. Lino, wherever you are, thanks for telling the truth. I am sure that he is ratifying what we said from the beginning, since he [José José] left.”
