Nicky Jam Documentary For New Album Intimo

With almost 25 years of musical career, Nicky Jam is one of the most influential and successful artists in the history of urban music. Achieving success has not been easy for the artist. "Drugs, bad habits, bad decisions … I lost everything," the interpreter of "Mischief" revealed to Apple Music. “Life is dark moments [and] moments of light. This is gone at any time."

Fortunately, there is Nicky Jam for a while. "Music is my therapy and [writing] this album was therapeutic," said the singer of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, who will release his new record production Intimo on November 1.

Intimo promises to be one of the most personal albums of the 38-year-old reggaeton player. "I felt like I had to give a totally different style of music, a new Nicky Jam," he said. "I realized that the album had that color of intimacy, but I have never been the person to talk about my intimate life."

The album is accompanied by a mini documentary that shows the path that the urban music star had to follow to become a global phenomenon. "I come from having lost everything, but the success of an artist is the trajectory because life is like that, dark moments and moments of light," Nicky Jam is heard saying.

In the mini-documentary - which premieres on October 25 - you will be able to listen to “Destino” and “Sin filter”, musical themes that will be available on Apple Music from the launch of the documentary to the release of the album.
