Mijares Musical Advice From His Daughter Lucero

A few months ago, Lucero, the daughter of Manuel Mijares and Lucero, made her musical debut after performing a duet on the song “Vencer al amor” with her father. At that time the interpreter of "Bella" confessed that the young lady had helped her in the production of her latest music album. Now, the singer confesses that he trusts La Beba a lot, as he affectionately calls him, to help him on a professional level.

"I rely a lot on Beba, my daughter, because in my last album she was the one who chose me songs, she said to me 'look daddy, I think it can work very well for you', she has great musical sense," Mijares revealed to the media. “I feel very confident when she tells me that she likes something or that it should be somewhere else. Many times she has accompanied me to the recordings”.

For the singer, the 14-year-old girl is very sincere in her advice and is not afraid to say "no daddy [referring to Mijares], you are perfectly out of tune." According to the interpreter of "Soldado del amor", their offspring, Lucero and Manuel, have shown their musical gifts but see them as more interested in creation and production; she doesn't think they are singers like her and her mother.

“I think they are going to be involved in music but maybe not in the front; more in production”, he added. "She [Lucero Mijares] likes to be behind, in the dressing rooms, distributing the per diem to the musicians from dressing room to dressing room."

Manuel Mijares will release his next album titled Rompe Puzzle II next November and announced that he will participate in the musical tribute that they prepare for the late José José.
