It is well established that Meghan Markle is a very intelligent woman. It was normal for Prince Harry to set his eyes on her, not only because of her undeniable attractiveness, but because of her social conscience, something that certainly captivated the young prince by getting to know her better and made him dream of making him his wife.
Activist in favor of women's empowerment and worthy fighter for gender equality, it is clear to us with her latest video posted yesterday on her networks that the charities of this actress turned princess are sincere. In the clip you will see a Meghan girl, without special privileges and already changing the world in defense of women. There is no doubt that, in her new role in society as part of the British Royal Family, she has found a perfect platform for her childhood ideals and is carrying them out.
In the text of the post that accompanies the video that you can see at the end of this article, you can read these inspiring words: “Today is the International Day of the Girl child, celebrated in all countries and created by the United Nations to give visibility to gender inequality that exists around the world. Whether it is the lack of access to education, the stigma surrounding menstruation, forced child marriages, medical or legal discrimination and sexist violence, we urgently need to support young women on their path to excellence. It is also a day to celebrate and push girls to understand how much they are worth and help them to act so that they can become the women they want to become.”
And she continues: “The Duchess of Sussex has always fought to assert the rights of women and girls. At just eleven years old, she campaigned against a sexist advertisement that managed to change. No matter how old you are or where you are, you have the power to change things.”
Meghan Markle leaves no room for excuses! Indeed, if you watch the video carefully, you will see that Meghan appears, when her life was still like that of so many of us, in a segment from 1993: “If you see something that you don't like or is offensive, on television or in any other aside, write letters and send them where appropriate. You can really make a difference in the world, not just for yourself but for others.”
The post ends directly: "If you are a girl and you are reading this, this phrase is for you" and repeats those wonderful words that the Duchess shared in one of her speeches in Cape Town: "Visualize the best version of yourself and act like she would. "
