It is rare for members of any royal household to make their feelings known to what is said about them in the press. But Prince Harry can no longer take it and has shared a very intimate and personal statement where he has expressed the pain that he and his wife Meghan Markle are suffering after the tabloid harassment.
The happy dad considers that all limits have been crossed and with these words he has defended his wife tooth and nail, announcing that they will take legal action against The Mail on Sunday newspaper. This publication shared in its pages a private letter from Meghan to his father at the beginning of the year and that has been the drop that has filled the glass.
"There comes a point where all you have to do is deal with this behavior because it destroys people and destroys lives," he wrote bluntly.
A statement full of sincerity where he mentions one of the hardest episodes of his life, the loss of his mother, Princess Diana. The harassment his wife is now experiencing reminds him of the one suffered by his mother, something he is not willing to experience again.
"I have seen what happens when someone I love becomes merchandise to the point that they are no longer treated as a real person," he says with an open heart. “My deepest fear is that history will repeat itself. I lost my mother and now I see my wife being the victim of the same powerful forces, "he added.
From now on, the dukes will take the necessary legal actions to defend the honor of their family and in this case of Meghan, who has recently become the focus of the British press. Her first lawsuit has been against the newspaper cited for "misuse of private information, infringement of copyright and violation of the Data Protection Act of 2018," she concluded.
A writing that represents a great proof of Harry's love for his wife and mother of his son who has impacted the world for his humanity and courage.
